WATCH: Riley Gaines Introduces 'The Gaines Center' To Protect Women's Sports In Epic Announcement

On Tuesday, former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines -- known for her courageous stand against biological men competing in women's sports -- joined Fox News's 'Hannity' to discuss the founding of the 'The Riley Gaines Center At The Leadership Institute.'

Gaines competed with Lia Thomas -- a trans swimmer at the forefront of contemporary discussions on gender and the sporting world. While she tied Thomas for fifth in the 200 M freestyle, Gaines is winning the battle for the hearts and minds of America. As Pew Research reports, "58% say they would favor or strongly favor policies that require transgender athletes to compete on teams that match the sex they were assigned at birth. About four-in-ten (41%) would strongly favor these policies. Only 17% oppose or strongly oppose them, while about a quarter of U.S. adults (24%) neither favor nor oppose these policies."

"The women's sports category is not a failed retirement plan for male athletes," Gaines told host Sean Hannity. "That is not what it is. We, as women, of course, we are different than men, that is not to say we are inferior, but we are different than men. We have different physical ceilings and we are unique in our own ways. Therefore, of course, men should not be competing against women or changing in their locker rooms, under any circumstances."

After stating her position on pronouns and her attitude towards Lia Thomas, host Sean Hannity turned the conversation towards the Gaines Center and its mission -- protecting women's sports.

"The Riley Game Center is something that I wish I had when I began to speak up and when I faced the humiliation of the locker room and giving up our trophies for a photo op. The mission is to empower and, train and provide resources to students, athletes, parents, coaches, medical professionals, other allies who want to help in the fight to defend women, defend freedom of speech, actually, too. And women's sports, of course," Gaines said. "And so it will be a training program; we'll be doing school board training, putting conservative speakers on college campuses, which I think is really important to engage younger people and mobilize them."

OutKick, who Gaines is associated with, lists the mission of the Gaines Center as follows:

"The Riley Gaines Center will unapologetically:

  1. Protect the female identity
  2. Affirm the basic biological truth that men are men and women are women.
  3. Defend freedom of speech

The center is also are making it their mission to provide resources to defend the reality of gender and its relationship to women's sports, building coalitions and leaders to 'defend vital truths."
