WATCH: Senator John Kennedy TEARS INTO The Biden Administration, Washington Elites For Obstructing The Hunter Biden Investigation In Epic Takedown

On Wednesday, Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) slammed the Washington establishment for their role in covering up the crimes of the Biden Crime Family -- most notable, the misdeeds of Joe Biden's son Hunter -- during an appearance on Fox News's 'America Reports.' 

"I guess I would make two points. It is almost always the coverup and not the crime," Kennedy said, addressing United States Attorney for Delaware David Weiss's rebuttal of specific claims made by the House Judiciary Committee's Jim Jordan (R-OH) about retaliating against IRS whistleblowers. Weiss was overseeing the probe into Hunter Biden. "I am repeatedly amazed at how many smart people there are in Washington who have no sense. I do not know if Hunter Biden committed a crime. I sure do not know if President Biden committed a crime. We are trying to get the facts"

"But I do know this, and I think the American people can see it. The Washington managerial elite -- the establishment if you will -- is working harder than an ugly stripper to cover up whatever happened. And that is all that Congress is asking for, is the facts," Kennedy added. "And to the point that they have no sense, the elite in Washington think the American people do not see that they are covering up and that they are being obstructionists."

"Maybe it is a reflection for the contempt they have for the American people. But any fair-minded person can see that our effort to get to just the facts are being obstructed," Kennedy remarked. 

When discussing the facts surrounding the testimony of IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley, Kennedy added, "That is why we need the facts. I mean, just look at this from 35,000 feet. Let's suppose you are an important government official ... and very powerful. And your grown kid comes home one day and says, 'Dad, good news! A bunch of Russian companies and Chinese companies, and Romanian companies, and Ukranian companies have just hired me, they are giving me millions of dollars, to give them advice about stuff I do not know anything about.'

 "Now, what are you going to do, as a responsible government official? You are not going to say, "Do not tell me anything about it but be sure and share some with your sister.' You are going to try and find out what is going on, Kennedy concluded. "And the White House's story is that the President knew nothing about any of this. And I mean, this does not pass the smell test."
