WATCH: Speaker McCarthy SLAMS Joe Biden, Says He 'Lied' To The American People About Hunter's Business Dealings

On Monday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) slammed Joe Biden for allegedly lying to the American people about whether his son made money in China.

“The whole reason you have the WhatsApp message is because of the work the House Republicans have been doing. Not just in [Rep. James] Comer, not just [Rep. Jim] Jordan, but this was in Ways and Means under [Rep.] Jason Smith," Kevin McCarthy said during a Monday appearance on Fox News's 'Fox And Friends.'

"These are IRS long-term workers who have been through it and watched the abuse of power of how Hunter Biden was treated. I mean, they even waited to get the six-year statute of limitations off, for the Burisma money he didn't get charged for, they wanted to have a special counsel and now we’re seeing that the DOJ, the attorney general declined that, even though he’s saying something different. So, we have requested by July 6, Weiss to come in to answer these questions, because the IRS whistleblowers took copious notes during those meetings. Coming back with the date, the six people in it, and he took these notes, but he emailed everyone back, saying, 'this is what was said during the meeting,” McCarthy continued.

"We are continuing to do our information, much differently than anybody else. I wish none of this ever happened, or go forward with this in elected office. But now we found the president has lied to us. He said they never dealt with anything in China," McCarthy continued. "The whistleblower says he was in the meeting with a Chinese company as the Vice President. We now know they got millions of dollars that came through shell companies."

As Breitbart previously reported, Biden told viewers of the third presidential debate in 2020, "My son has not made money in terms of this thing about, what are you talking about, China." But if recent IRS whistleblowers are to be believed, that does not appear to be the case. The American people deserve answers here, and we demand them now.

McCarthy argued Biden's business dealings did not just look 'fishy' -- they evidenced corruption. "if you created a company, why wouldn't you have an office, why don't you create anything ... none of it smells right, none of it is right," McCarthy remarked.

He is exactly correct. There is something deeply nefarious sounding about Joe Biden's business relationship with his son Hunter and House Republicans must continue to hold this Administration's feet to the fire.
