WATCH: 'Squad' Democrat Cori Bush SLAMMED By CNN For 'Trumpian' Concession Speech - 'The Sorest Loser'

After 'Squad' Democrat Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) was soundly defeated in her St. Louis primary race on Tuesday, former Obama campaign advisor Ameshia Cross told "The Lead with Jake Tapper" that the progressive representative's concession speech was "Trumpian" in nature after she railed against the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) that backed her opponent, St. Louis County prosecutor Wesley Bell.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Bush, who has a history of anti-Israel comments, was resoundingly defeated by Bell, who secured 51.2 percent of the vote compared to Bush's 45.6 percent. The progressive congresswoman, who made a name for herself as a Black Lives Matter activist in 2014 after the death of Michael Brown, only served two terms in Congress and now joins Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) as the next progressive Democrat to be ousted by a moderate, pro-Israel competitor.

Following her loss, Bush doubled down on her radicalism, telling a crowd of supporters in St. Louis that "All they did was radicalize me, so now they should be afraid...AIPAC, I'm coming to tear your kingdom down. And let me put all of these corporations on notice. I'm coming after you, too!" In response to her divisive concession speech, Cross explained that Bush's comments were "completely ridiculous" and "Trumpian to a certain extent."

"The 'tear your kingdom down' thing is actually a well-known Black gospel song. It is not related in any way to talk about Satan. So she's comparing AIPAC to Satan," she explained, as reported by Fox News. "As somebody who has, full disclosure, has been a longtime friend of Wesley Bell, I've seen his work. I've worked with him, particularly when it came to him being a progressive prosecutor and when he ran that race. He is not someone who is by any means a conservative. So, seeing her come out and try to paint him as that, I think, was problematic. In addition to that not fully understanding what was happening on the ground, I think that she swung way too far to the left and she was not willing to come back to moderate in any type of way and is probably the sorest loser that I've seen recently."

"AIPAC didn't necessarily go after them specifically based on their votes that were anti-Jewish and anti-support of the nation-state of Israel," Cross stated. "They voted against them, and they pushed their money towards campaigns that the people on the ground would have resonated with specifically."

Rep. Cori Bush is the latest progressive Democrat to get the boot from her constituents after Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) lost his primary earlier this year. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) will be facing her own well-supported Democrat challenger next week, which could see yet another member of the Democrat' Squad' lose their seat to a less extreme challenger.
