On Wednesday, presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump once again showed his strong connection to the American people during a visit to a Chick-fil-A establishment in Atlanta, Georgia. During the visit, several black voters said they supported the 45th president, an anecdote for a possible wider trend sweeping the black community.
On his way to an Atlanta fundraiser, Trump dropped by Chick-fil-A in the Vine City neighborhood on 875 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. The presumptive GOP nominee spoke to the employees and customers at the establishment after ordering 30 milkshakes and handing them out during his visit, as reported by 11 Alive. One young black woman told Trump, "I don't care what the media tells you, Mr. Trump; we support you!" Trump then invited her in for a hug and a picture.
"I'm going to get rid of Biden!" Trump told customers. "He is the worst president in the history of the United States, and he is horrible to the black community. Whether you like it or not, he treats the black community badly. And check out his record in the 1990s." During the visit, Trump also boasted about his efforts to help the black community, including funding historically black colleges and universities and creating a robust economy that resulted in the lowest black unemployment rate in decades.
President Trump is in Atlanta for a high-profile luncheon hosted by former Senate candidates David Perdue (R-GA) and Kelly Loeffler (R-GA), as well as Lt. Gov. Burt Jones (R-GA). The fundraiser is part of Trump's push in recent weeks to catch up to the cash disadvantage he has against President Joe Biden, who currently has $192 million on hand compared to Trump's $93 million. However, that gap is beginning to close thanks to a massive weekend fundraiser held in Palm Beach, Florida.
As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Trump raised over $50 million at the event. The fundraiser's success was largely due to Trump's initiative, with the Republican leader reportedly calling up fellow billionaires to encourage them to donate to the Trump 47 Committee. The "Inaugural Leadership Dinner" was hosted at Wall Street billionaire John Paulson's home in Palm Beach, Florida, and tickets were as high as $824,600 for a seat at President Trump's table.
While Trump continues to work to lobby high-dollar donors for donations, he was still able to find the time to visit with the people who make the America First movement great: the hardworking men and women of America. The race for the White House will be decided by the millions of Americans nationwide who are fed up with Biden's lackluster economy and wish for the return of President Donald Trump.

Donald Trump loves people regardless of their color, religion, or sexual orientation. All he wants is the best for this country and all it's people. I am so glad he finally reminded everyone what he did for the historically Black Colleges and Universities by removing the rule that previously required them to go to Washington and beg for funding. Trump made that rule go away and provided a route to get their funding every year without having to beg Washington.
