On Saturday, leading 2024 presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump continued to win the hearts of Americans as he attended the Iowa vs. Iowa State College football game and grilled burgers with a massive crowd of college students at Iowa State.
Before the game, 77-year-old Trump even returned to his athletic roots by autographing footballs and throwing them out into the massive crowd of young Americans chanting “WE LOVE TRUMP!”

After grilling burgers, Trump spoke with Right Side Broadcasting Network’s Brian Glenn and said, “This is some turnout. I guess the youth likes Trump. We just left South Dakota last night. It was an amazing evening. We got a wonderful endorsement, as you know, from the Governor."

Absentee Florida governor and now supposed 2024 Republican presidential candidate was also in attendance of the NCAA college football game, but sadly for DeSantis, was completely outshined by President Trump.
In a press release, former Iowa tight end and former Attorney General Matt Whitaker said, “We’re thrilled to invite Donald J. Trump to the Iowa vs. Iowa State football game this weekend.”
“President Trump attended this game in 2015 and remembers the incredible passion and electricity of the fans,” Whitaker added.
In 1992, then-successful businessman and author Donald Trump stunned the audience of a Stargaze Shootout as he made a qualifying throw for their million dollar toss, making history as one of the only men to ever make the shot.
Trump has said that while he was in high school, he learned important life lessons while playing football at “a very low level.”
Trump’s former classmate Ted Levine told Business Insider, “[Trump] was just the best, a good athlete, a great athlete.”
"He could have probably played pro ball as a pitcher. I think he threw 80 miles an hour. I was the catcher. He made my hand black and blue every day,” Levine added.
"Could he play football? Could he play soccer? He could do anything he wanted. He was physically and mentally gifted,” Levine said.
