WATCH: Trump Says He'd Be 'Inclined' To Release Jeffrey Epstein Client List In Second Term

During an interview with Lex Fridman on Tuesday, President Donald Trump revealed that he would likely release the client list of sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Fridman, a podcast host with millions of followers, asked the 45th president why many "smart, powerful people" allowed Epstein to get so close, to which Trump explained that he was a "good salesman."

"He was a good salesman. He was a hailing, hearty type of guy. He had some nice assets that he'd throw around, like islands, but a lot of big people went to that island. But fortunately, I was not one of them," Trump explained. The former president stated that he found it interesting that those who were involved with Epstein have yet to be exposed, adding that he would be inclined to release the Epstein client list.

"I'd certainly take a look at it. Now, Kennedy's interesting because it's so many years ago. They do that for danger too, because it endangers certain people…so Kennedy is very different from the Epstein thing," Trump said. "But I'd be inclined to do the Epstein. I'd have no problem with it." Trump has vowed to take action in a second term to declassify files related to the Kennedy assassination, and the support for releasing files related to Epstein could have drastic consequences for those involved with the sex trafficker.

Before he was able to face trial, Jeffrey Epstein allegedly committed suicide in 2019, but various trials and court cases following his death have exposed the heinous sexual crimes he committed alongside influential and powerful men.

As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, unsealed documents released earlier this year revealed that Epstein allegedly made secret recordings of prominent clients engaging in sexual acts with victims. According to claims by Epstein victim Sarah Ransome, the recordings feature prominent men like former President Bill Clinton, Virgin Group founder Richard Branson, and Prince Andrew.

In the unsealed documents, Ransome explained that Epstein would film her "friend "having sex with the well-known men. However, she went on to explain that "Epstein was not seen in any of the footage... he was clever like that!" According to The Sun, Ransome's friend allegedly got a hold of the tapes. The Epstein victim claimed the same thing back in 2016 when she sent an email to journalist Maureen Callahan.

"My friend had sexual intercourse with Clinton, Prince Andrew and Richard Branson, sex tapes were in fact filmed on each separate occassion," she wrote in the email. "I eventually managed to persuade her to send me some of the video footage which she kept, implicating all three men. I have backed up the footage on several USB sticks and have securely sent them to various different locations throughout Europe." Ransome went on to explain that the filming took place in Epstein's New York property.
