WATCH: Trump To UAW Workers: ‘A Vote For Crooked Joe Means The Auto Industry Will Be Made In China’

On Wednesday afternoon, instead of attending the second GOP presidential primary debate in California, 45th President and leading 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump spoke to a large crowd of striking UAW auto workers in Clinton Township, Michigan.

After speaking for over an hour, Trump proceeded to shake hands with hundreds of auto workers who sat through his entire speech. Trump also toured Drake Enterprises, an automotive parts manufacturer and supplier in Michigan.

On Tuesday, days after Trump’s trip was announced, President Joe Biden rushed to Michigan to also address members of the UAW, but only spoke for over a minute and quickly left.


"A vote for Crooked Joe means the future of the auto industry will be MADE IN CHINA. My pledge to every automaker is this: a vote for President Trump means the future of the automobile will be MADE IN AMERICA," Trump said.

During Trump’s speech, he called out Biden, saying, “Yesterday Joe Biden came to Michigan to pose for photos at the picket line, but it’s his policies that send Michigan auto workers to the unemployment line.”

"I'll give you the return of the United States of America as the greatest and strongest industrial nation in the history of the world. Together, we will dismantle the corrupt power structure that has feasted on the suffering of the American autoworker and the workers of any kind,” Trump also said.

“If you want to save your livelihoods and your way of life, then you need to send a message and join the ULTIMATE STRIKE against the globalist class by casting your vote for a gentleman known as Donald J. Trump.”

“If you want to save your livelihoods and your way of life, then you need to send a message and join the ULTIMATE STRIKE against the globalist class by casting your vote for a gentleman known as Donald J. Trump,” Trump added.

"We're going to take their money, we're going to take their factories, we're going to rebuild the industrial bedrock of this country. By the time this battle is over, the rusted-out factories will not be here in Michigan, they'll be in Beijing, Shanghai, and other parts of the world,” Trump also said.
