Woke Hollywood 'Star Wars' Star Quits Tweeting For A Day To Threaten Elon Musk In Sad Stunt

Hollywood icon Mark Hamill, most famous for playing Luke Skywalker in the 'Star Wars' franchise, announced his intention to not use Twitter for a day on Tuesday, after Twitter owner Elon Musk rebranded the platform as 'X.'

"This will only be effective if EVERYONE refrains from tweeting (X-ing?) on August 1st a/k/a #TweetlessTuesday," Hamill tweeted, replying to a tweet that advocated for mass boycotting of Twitter on August 1st. "Let's show the owner the POWER OF THE PEOPLE. Honestly, would it kill you to keep your thoughts to yourself for 1 damn day? Read a book!  #August1stTweetOutDay"

Hamill continued his sad rant, tweeting, "TOMORROW is #August1stTweetOutDay. Join me, @MzSgtPepper& the WHOLE WORLD in NOT tweeting for 24 hrs. I won't dignify accusations that this is a political statement when it is, in fact, simply an experimental STUNT because I'm bored & wanna see what happens. #TweetlessTuesday"

The idea that this is not a political statement is ludicrous on its face. The tweet Hamill initially replied to was directed at 'blue voters.' It is more than evident that Hamill, who has consistently attacked Donald J. Trump and the Republican Party, has political motivations here. This is another lame attempt at lame woke activism, activism we have come to expect from the radical liberals in Hollywood and elsewhere.

Hamill replied to Fox News' coverage of this cringe-worthy move, saying, "HOORAY!!! I've successfully created a distraction. I feel like the new Green M&M! Thanks to all who helped make this a thing & yes, it already IS a thing. A dumb thing, but still...Now how BIG CAN YOU MAKE IT for no apparent reason? #TweetlessTuesday"

Unfortunately, Hamill did not stop there. He made himself look even more ridiculous. Truly, this is beyond depressing for patriotic fans of the 'Star Wars' franchise to see. Hollywood rarely lets people separate art from the artist these days, as Republicans are frequently attacked by top actors and actresses. While Hamill did not reveal the precise motive of the boycott, his disdain for common-sense policies is evident to all who look at his Twitter feed. He has allied himself with a party that, in practice, rejects freedom of speech so it makes sense that Hamill has disdain for Elon Musk.

"FINAL TWEET til Wednesday August 2nd 2023! All I want to do is this: I just want to find 10,O11,780+ folks, which is way more than we have, to go silent tomorrow on Twitter," Hamill concluded. "Not a HOAX! Not a SCAM! Just a PRANK to make August a little less blah. TUESDAY: DON'T BE HERE!"
