Should Joe Biden Be Impeached? New Survey Shows That Americans Believe He Committed High Crimes

President Joe Biden is once again polling terribly, but this time rather than a potential 2024 election, Americans are looking for the mentally decaying president to be impeached by Congress.

A recent survey done by Rasmussen Reports asked American likely voters whether or not they believe Joe Biden should be impeached, as well as if he has committed an impeachable offense and if they see the process happening. The survey was taken on May 11th and 14th-15th using 996 likely voters. 

The survey showed the 46th president had an average of 42 percent of Americans believing Congress should begin the impeachment process against him. As expected, Biden’s impeachment is more wanted by Republicans, who have 70 percent saying the impeachment should proceed, while Democrats want it less, with 71 percent saying it should not proceed. 

The poll doesn’t end there, however, with things only getting worse for the Scranton-born president. 53 percent in the poll said they believed that the president at some point committed “high crimes and misdemeanors that would justify Congress impeaching him,” with 38 percent of those saying it is “very” likely. 

However, even among those polled who believe he should be impeached, they don’t see it happening. The notable majority of people polled, 66 percent, believe that it is not very likely to happen, with 29 percent of those voters believing it’s “not likely at all.”

The poll carries note as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) announced on Thursday that she would be submitting articles of impeachment against the sitting president, per the DC Enquirer.

“It is with the highest amount of solemnity that I announce my intention to introduce articles of impeachment today, on the head of this America-last executive branch, that has been working since Jan. 20, 2021, to systematically destroy this country, the president of the United States, Joseph Robinette Biden,” Greene said.

The reasons for the impeachment, according to Greene, are numerous, including but not limited to defunding the border wall, his catch-and-release policies, the ever-growing fentanyl crisis, child labor violations with illegal immigrant children, and many more. 

Whether Joe Biden will actually face an impeachment process is yet to be seen, but it’s clear that Americans notice the fishy behavior of Biden and his family. The impeachment of a president is a major deal, but some would say it’s majorly overdue for a president actively harming the country as much as Biden.
