Trump slammed Joe Biden's handling of the war in Ukraine in a Truth Social post, writing, "Biden continues to bring the world ever closer to nuclear war. I alone am the candidate who can prevent World War 3. I will end the killing and bloodshed and bring peace to Europe and the World!"
Trump was responding to a New York Times tweet which read, "President Biden will allow Ukrainian pilots to be trained on U.S.-made F-16 fighter jets, he told U.S. allies on Friday. He said he is also prepared to let other countries give F-16s to Ukraine — a major upgrade of their military and a sharp reversal.

This is not the first time Trump has called for an immediate end to the war in Ukraine. During his CNN Town Hall, Trump opined, "I want everyone to stop dying. Russians and Ukrainians. I want them to stop dying. And I'll have that done in 24 hours."
Indeed, Trump asserted the war would never have happened if he were still in office. After all, Trump's foreign policy acumen is unmatched and truly impressive to behold. His exceptional leadership and negotiating aptitude kept America and our allies safe. By putting America First, the rest of the world was made all the better.
Trump also argued Europe should be footing more of the bill. After all, America has directed $75 billion to Ukraine since the war began in February of last year, as previously reported by the Council of Foreign Relations. "They have plenty of money. They should equalize. I want Europe to put up more money because they are laughing at us. They think we are a bunch of jerks. We're spending $170 billion for a faraway land and they are right next door to that land and they are in with $20 billion. I don't think so."
