Kelsey Grammer, a rare breed of conservative actor, has found an extraordinary renaissance in his sixties on the heels of the Christian box-office-smashing film ‘Jesus Revolution.’ New reports emerging have revealed that the actor, already known for his outspoken conservativism for years, is an unashamed, unapologetic Christian. With an upcoming ‘Frasier’ reboot in the offing with Paramount+, Grammer’s star is on the rise once again, with his faith in Jesus to guide it.
In a recent interview with USA Today, the 68-year-old actor explained his faith journey, “I’ve had hiccups. I’ve had some tragic times. I have wrestled with those and worked my way through them.”

“Sometimes rejecting faith, sometimes rejecting God even, in a period of being pretty angry about it,” he told the outlet. “Like, ‘Where were you?’ That kind of thing. But I have come to terms with it and have found great peace in my faith and in Jesus.”
Early in his life, Grammer was beset with tragedies that “nearly destroyed” him according to Smooth Radio. When he was only 13 years old, his father Frank was brutally murdered. Only seven years later, his sister Karen was kidnapped by four men, raped, and murdered, as revealed in a 2013 Business Insider report. She was only 18. Kelsey, then twenty, identified her body.
“It’s not cavalier. Jesus made a difference in my life,” Grammer added. “That’s not anything I’ll apologize for.”
Earlier in his four-decade-long career, Grammer won five Emmys and three Golden Globes for his role as Dr. Frasier Crane on ‘Cheers’ and spin-off ‘Frasier,’ ‘The Simpsons’ as the legendary villain ‘Sideshow Bob’ Terwilliger and ‘Boss.’ But according to USA Today, the award-winning Hollywood A-Lister said ‘Jesus Revolution’ might be his greatest work. His wife Kayte Walsh said so at least.

“It’s really uplifting. It’s a good movie,” he said. “My wife and I saw it together. She was just dissolved in tears and said, ‘It’s the best thing you’ve ever done.'”
