'This Is Serious': Republican Lawmakers Call For Impeachment Of Joe Biden Following Release Of Explosive Evidence

On Thursday, several Republicans in Congress began rallying for the impeachment of incumbent President Joe Biden after the release of an unclassified FBI document that detailed his involvement with a foreign bribery scandal. 

The FD-1023 released by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) allegedly shows that then-Vice President Biden had accepted a massive $5 million bribe from the head of Ukraine-based Burisma Holdings to push for the firing of the then-Ukrainian prosecutor general, as previously covered by the DC Enquirer. Notably, during that same period, Hunter Biden was on the board of the Ukrainian company while it was under investigation by the prosecutor general, drawing further connections between Joe Biden and the Eastern European country.

“Thanks to @ChuckGrassley’s whistleblowers, we know through the release of the FD-1023 form that the Burisma CEO made two $5,000,000 payments to both Hunter and Joe Biden. It’s time to investigate these serious allegations of corruption,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) tweeted, alongside a video of her discussing the document. 

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) tweeted out a long message discussing what the document means. “We were only allowed to see this unclassified form in a SCIF, but I took notes and told you all exactly what it said. Thank goodness Chuck Grassley had a copy from a courageous whistleblower and released it today!”

“Also in 2020, before the presidential election, the FBI had the Hunter Biden laptop filled with evidence of multiple crimes including the same proof I showed during the Oversight hearing that Hunter payed prostitutes through his law firm and made sex tapes and posted them on porn sites. All of this was known and reported by banks in SARs reports and on Oversight we have proof of these payments in bank statements,” the tweet continued.

Rep. Greene also took note of other aspects, but finished her tweet by writing “IMPEACH BIDEN!!!” 

“We promised to uncover Joe Biden's corrupt business deals and that is EXACTLY what we have done! IMPEACH,” Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) tweeted out. 

“READ this. This is serious, credible evidence that Joe & Hunter Biden solicited & received a $10m bribe from a foreign national. (1) why didn’t FBI fully investigate? (2) why is corporate media ignoring?” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) tweeted. 

“This is damning evidence that Biden is compromised. Remember when Democrats and their pals in the media went as far as to question whether this document even exists?” Rep. Pat Fallon (R-TX) wrote. 

The release of the FD-1023 has been a major vindication moment for Republicans who have been facing immense pushback from the left over the investigation into the Biden family. Democrats have attempted to claim the entire investigation was a simple political ploy to gain ground on the 2024 election but the new document proves that there is much more to it than a simple political move.

While the FD-1023 only alleges things and doesn’t properly confirm anything, it still works to further connect Joe Biden to a string of criminal activities committed during his time as vice president. If Trump was impeached for the frivolous things he was during his time in the Oval Office, this new revelation is more than good enough to proceed with the impeachment of Joe Biden.
