Target Value Plummets $9 BILLION In Value Following 'Pride' Line Boycott, May Only Be The Start Of Another Bud Light-Esque Backlash

In the rapid decline of businesses that decided to cave to the hyper-liberal woke agenda, Target has lost a massive $9 billion in market value following its disgusting ‘Pride’ collection that featured clothes for children which prompted angry consumers to call for a boycott of the store.

Target recently released its ‘Pride’ collection ahead of June’s pride month, featuring clothing such as tuck-friendly swimsuits and clothing aimed towards toddlers, per the DC Enquirer. The entire collection can only be seen as a blatant attack on traditional values, even having some of the products designed by an open Satanist, per the DC Enquirer.

Target CEO Brian Cornell originally supported the ‘Pride’ line, stating on Fortune’s ‘Leadership Next’ podcast, “I think those are just good business decisions, and it’s the right thing for society, and it’s the great thing for our brand.”

Target has attempted to backtrack on its decision, releasing a statement earlier this week, saying it would reconsider its decision.

"For more than a decade, Target has offered an assortment of products aimed at celebrating Pride Month," the company said in a statement. "Since introducing this year's collection, we've experienced threats impacting our team members' sense of safety and well-being while at work."

"Given these volatile circumstances, we are making adjustments to our plans, including removing items that have been at the center of the most significant confrontational behavior," the company continued. "Our focus now is on moving forward with our continuing commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community and standing with them as we celebrate Pride Month and throughout the year."

Well, the move from the retailer is biting them back, going down from $160.96 a share last Wednesday to $141.76 on early Thursday trading. The week-long decline has lost the company a total of 12 percent from its market value, or a notable total of $9 billion less.

The first week may only show signs to come, as other boycotts over the woke agenda being pushed have persisted. Bud Light and parent company Anheuser-Busch continue to see disappointing sales, as reported by the DC Enquirer. If the example from Bud Light is anything to show, Target may only be beginning its decline.

These companies deserve the decline that they’re seeing. When a company sacrifices morality in order to appease a woke mob, they deserve every single boycott and controversy that arises.
