'That's Heavy:' NFL Star Odell Beckham Jr. Reacts To 'Sound Of Freedom' In Viral Tweet

On Wednesday, NFL Star Odell Beckham Jr. reacted to the hit film 'Sound of Freedom' in a viral tweet that is blowing up the internet.

"Sound of Freedom. I don’t even kno what to say. That’s heavy," Beckham Jr. tweeted.

As the DC Enquirer previously reported, "the movie is about the real-life child sex trafficking ring that exists throughout Latin America and the United States. The movie itself is based on the true story of Tim Ballard, a former CIA agent, who becomes frustrated only capturing people who watched child pornography in the United States and not catching those responsible for making the evil product."

As such, the film is most undoubtedly 'heavy', as Beckham Jr. notes, because it is centered on a grave reality many would like to ignore. Millions of Americans have watched the film for a good reason; it is a call to action. Our government must take a stand to protect children affected by child trafficking -- and Trump has already vowed to fight for their rights. 

Trump is renowned for his efforts to protect children. Trump reacted to the film by highlighting his impressive record in the fight against child trafficking. 

"President Trump’s leadership resulted in a 14% increase in human trafficking convictions in 2017 over the prior year. In 2017, President Trump’s Director of National Intelligence raised the issue of human trafficking to a top priority for America’s intelligence agencies. In 2018, President Trump made history as the first president to participate in the President’s Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons," Trump said in a statement after screening the film. "As President, Donald J. Trump took historic steps to end human trafficking and protect the innocent. In January 2020, President Trump recognized the 20th Anniversary of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act and signed an Executive Order on Combating Human Trafficking and Online Child Exploitation in the United States, creating the first ever White House position solely dedicated to combatting human trafficking."

The film has been a glorious hit in the United States. The DC Enquirer adds that the film. "surpassed $164 million at the domestic box office as it continues to expose child sex trafficking for the heinous crime that it is. That box office haul, over 10 times its initial budget, is blasting past some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters this summer."

Beckham Jr, a wide receiver who is recovering from an ACL tear, recently signed with the Baltimore Ravens. While he considered returning to the NFL last season, he remained a free agent throughout the entire season. All the same, Beckham Jr is not the only person in the sporting world praising 'Sound of Freedom.' Dana White also praised the film on Twitter, saying he would pay for employees' tickets to the film.

Patriotic Americans all over our nation are watching the film in droves and it is beautiful to behold.
