WATCH: At Waco Rally, Trump Declares ‘I Am Your Warrior’, Slams Elite Politicians, And More as Thousands Chant ‘We Love Trump’

On Saturday, 45th President and leading 2024 Republican presidential contender Donald Trump held his first campaign rally in Waco, Texas with thousands of supporters in attendance.

Trump arrived at the Waco Regional Airport around 5 p.m. aboard his personal plane. In a clip that has now gone viral, the plane, dubbed ‘Trump Force One’, can be seen flying overhead the rally with the theme song from Top Gun playing in the background.

“They’re not coming after me. They’re coming after you, and I’m just standing in their way,” Trump said at the rally, adding, “and eventually, I won’t have to stand in their way because, in 2024, we’re going to have the greatest victory of them all.”

“In 2016, I declared I am your voice and now I say to you again tonight, I am your warrior. I am your justice. And I took a lot of heat for this one but I only mean it in the proper way,” Trump said. “For those that have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution.”

Trump then took aim at establishment politicians in Washington, D.C., saying, “The problem isn’t China, the problem is stupid people that have to deal with China, and that’s what we have.”

TEXAS LOVES TRUMP: TRUMP MASSIVELY OVERFLOWS WACO RALLY WITH THOUSANDS OF SUPPORTERS

In addition to calling out elites in Washington, Trump said that under his second term, he would ensure that the southern border is secure, unlike the current condition it is in under President Biden.

On multiple occasions throughout the rally, the crowd broke into cheers of “we love Trump!”

The rally was clearly a major success for Trump’s 2024 campaign. After a week of worry spurred by a potential indictment, the rally invigorated the campaign as Trump’s poll numbers have risen dramatically.

Despite Trump officially announcing his run for a second term in November last year, his first campaign rally felt far more like the campaign kickoff his campaign deserves with thousands of grassroots supporters cheering him on.
