WATCH: Brave Pennsylvania Delivery Driver Stops Suspect Pursued By Police In Viral Clip

Over the past week, a clip went viral of a Pennsylvania delivery man stopping a suspect dead in his tracks following a police pursuit by tripping the escapee while he was delivering a pizza.

The famous delivery driver, Tyler Morrell, joined ‘Fox & Friends‘ to describe his experience on Tuesday where he said that “I was in the middle of the movie.”

“I got to the doorbell and right when I rang the doorbell is when you hear the sirens go off,” the delivery driver stated. “Then you hear the screech and the door doesn’t open all the way. So I’m stuck with the pizza in my hand.”

“So right then I knew something was going on, and I didn’t know how I was going to play a role in the whole thing,” Morrell said. “But I knew I was in the middle of the movie.”

Morrell went on to explain the reaction that he has received, explaining, “We’ve been saying about 99.9% of responses have been extremely positive. We’ve gotten a couple of phone calls threats that have come in, apparently claiming I did the wrong thing, saying how could I trip a kid?”

“I feel like I just did what every other person would have done. I’m asking people, ‘Would you have done this?,’ and they’re like, ‘To be honest, I don’t think I would have,’ and I’m like, OK, maybe I am the crazy one,” he said.

Morrell is a driver for Cocco’s Pizza Aston and he was on his daily delivery schedule when he suddenly hear police sirens nearby.

In the clip, Morrell can be seen walking towards the sidewalk as police cars successfully stopped the fleeing vehicle containing two suspects.

One of the suspects exited the vehicle and began to run from the police, however, he didn’t get far.

Morrell acted quickly and tripped the man thus allowing the Brookhaven Police Department to take the suspect into custody.

“Thank you sir for the assist!!! If you’re interested in a job we are always looking for good people,” the Brookhaven PD wrote in a Facebook post. “Coccos Pizza Aston. -You have great employees!”

Once again a good Samaritan proved to be instrumental in stopping crime.
