Former President Donald Trump just keeps winning. And per usual, it comes at the expense of the Democrats — this time President Joe Biden. Could 2024 be the year of Trump’s ultimate revenge? A recent poll indicates as much.
President Trump’s policies were wildly popular with the American people. His personality was divisive. Some people loathed the former President. Still, others lauded the President as a microcosm of the best parts of America. He was loud of course, but they contend he protected America and her interests as good as anyone — indeed, better.
Whatever you think of President Trump, it is hard to deny that America was a much more finely oiled machine during the four years Trump was in office. The American economy was booming during the Trump Administration. America was safe, and our military was bolstered.
On the other hand, Biden’s America is anything but a finely oiled machine. Our border is in crisis. Our military is in bad shape as Biden advocates for disastrous withdrawals. Our economy is exceptionally weak due to inflation, and Americans are being punished at the gas pump.
All in all, our country needs a man like President Trump to undo the disastrous efforts of the Biden Presidency. We cannot wait for 2024.
A recent Rasmussen poll demonstrates that most Americans agree with that sentiment. Likely voters were asked the question: “Which would be better for America: If President Joe Biden is reelected in 2024, if former President Donald Trump is elected president again in 2024, or if somebody else is elected president in 2024?” And they responded in a decisive way.
The National Pulse reports the following results:
“New data shows 42 percent of Americans want Donald Trump back in office in 2024.
The number is 40 percent (14 points) higher than those who want Biden back (28 percent). Another 27 percent told Rasmussen Reports they would prefer “somebody else” other than the 2020 competitors.”
These weren’t the only bad numbers for Biden. Americans overwhelmingly disapprove of Joe Biden’s Presidency. A measly 34 percent of likely voters think Biden’s Presidency has been good for the long-term success of America. 52 percent think the results of his Presidency have been bad for America’s long-term future. The rest of the likely voters are undecided or think not much of a difference has been made in the year Biden has been in office.
Biden has to be concerned with these results. He has signaled he intends to run in 2024. Could Trump best him in that contest? We may know soon. But per the results of this poll, Biden will have to change his policies if he wants to win the hearts and minds of the American people. If not, former President Trump could get the revenge he so earnestly desires.
