BREAKING: Rep. Anna Paulina Luna Submits House Resolution To Remove Rep. Adam Schiff From Congress

On Wednesday, Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) submitted a House Resolution to expel Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) from Congress following Special Counsel John Durham's report revealing Schiff’s involvement with illegal spying on a United States president.

The over 300-page report was a bombshell, completely shutting down the hoax of Former President Donald Trump’s potential collusion with Russia, but also served to make the public aware of the illegal spying done by the Department of Justice and the FBI, as previously reported by the DC Enquirer

The report from Durham also revealed that Rep. Schiff and Senator Jack Reed (D-R.I.) attempted to get university researchers to investigate claims of then-President Trump’s ties to Russia through Alfa Bank.

In the pages, it is revealed that two researchers from a university met with staffers at the Capitol in November 2018 in a conference room that belonged to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, which Schiff would go on to be the chair of in the 117th Congress.

The researchers entered under the impression they would be briefing members of the staff on university research contracts but were thrown a curveball when asked to investigate imaginary ties between the Trump Organization and Russia’s Alfa Bank.

“After arriving in the HPSCI secure conference room, Reed Staffer-2 introduced University-I Researcher-3 and University-I Researcher-2 to several HPSCI staffers. During the meeting, University-! Researcher-3 and University-I Researcher-2 began to provide a similar presentation to that which they had given to the Senate staffers,” the Durham report read. “Soon after the start of the presentation, however, the Committee staffers cut University-I Researcher-3 off and showed him and University- I Researcher-2 a news article about Trump, Russia, and Alfa Bank that University-I Researcher-3 had not seen previously. The staffers asked University-I Researcher-3 to read the article and said they wanted University-1 ‘s help with the matter, and Reed Staffer-2 said University-I Researcher-3 ‘… could make it easier.”

A researcher for the university responded stating that it would be inappropriate for a public university to do such kind of research and the unnamed person felt threatened into doing so. The researchers then left the meeting, with one telling another to not “touch this with a ten-foot pole, stay away from this.”

Rep. Schiff was removed from his position as chair of the House Intelligence Committee in January 2023 due to his adamantness in the now-debunked Trump-Russia collusion theories.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna did not take the actions of Rep. Schiff lightly, issuing a House Resolution that stated “Resolved, That, pursuant to Article I, Section 5, Clause 2 of the Constitution of the United States, Representative Adam Schiff, be, and he hereby is, expelled from the House of Representatives.”

Rep. Luna wrote in her tweet sharing the resolution "Schiff lied to the American people. He used his position on House Intel to push a lie that cost American taxpayers millions of dollars. He is a dishonor to the House of Representatives."

Others in Congress have already begun to question Rep. Schiff, with House Speaker Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) saying in an interview "It really raises the question about Adam Schiff. You remember when he told the American people he had proof? Remember when he told them he didn't know the wistleblower?"
