Cruz, who is running for reelection this November, chose America First candidate Brandon Gill after 45th President Donald Trump, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the House Freedom Caucus, and many others endorsed him. Given this strong support from the conservative movement across the country, his campaign has raised at least $1.5 million.
